Rent Control Will Keep Delano Affordable!

Delano neighbors and community leaders are working hard to place rent control on the November 2024 ballot making our city affordable, safe, and vibrant for the people who call the City of Delano home.

Rent control:

  • Makes the City of Delano Rents Affordable and protects renters from massive rent hikes

  • Provides a Fair Return on Rents for our local mom and pop landlords

  • Prevents Unfair Evictions by protecting tenants who follow the rules

  • Helps People put Down Roots and support strong neighborhoods in the City of Delano by preventing displacement

  • Can only be changed or amended by a vote of, you, the people, not the government
